When used as a clarifier to clear green water, this unit is suitable for larger ponds up to 6000 gallons using pumps up to 2400 gph. When used as a sterilizer to kill bacteria, this unit will produce the best results in small ponds up to 2000 gallons using pumps up to 1200 gph. Note: For optimal performance, replace the bulb in your Pondmaster Submersible Ultraviolet (UV) Clarifier every season even if it continues to light, as over time the bulbs will lose their effective light spectrum.
